Last week we started our two-part series about Leslie Spellman, a young woman on a hiking adventure whose body was found in a garden on the island where we live in Maine back in the 1970s and this week we continue that story with a little more detail. This is the story of Leslie E. Spellman, a Massachusetts woman who hitchhiked to Acadia on her first solo hitchhiking camping adventure and never made it back home.
